गुरुजीको तपस्याको क्रममा हरिद्वारकी एक आध्यात्मिक रूपमा प्रबुद्ध गुरु माताले आफ्ना गुरुद्वारा लेखिएको इच्छापत्र फेला पार्नुभयो, जसमा उहाँको आध्यात्मिक उत्तराधिकार “कालिदास” नामक एक सन्तलाई सुम्पिनुपर्ने उल्लेख गरिएको थियो। गुरुजीको आध्यात्मिक साधना तथा सिद्धिहरूबारे जानकारी पाएपछि उहाँले गुरुजीलाई हरिद्वार आमन्त्रण गर्नुभयो, जहाँ भारतभरिका महान् सन्तहरू तथा शंकराचार्यहरूको उपस्थितिमा उहाँलाई विधिपूर्वक दीक्षा प्रदान गरी “परमहंस” को सम्मानित उपाधिले विभूषित गरियो। यसरी श्री बाबा कालिदासजी महाराज “श्री कृष्णानन्द परमहंस” नामले व्यापक रूपमा परिचित हुनुभयो।
